–Check in at the pro shop is no more than 60 minutes in advance. You can arrive earlier on the property if you wish to sit on the patio to eat/drink before your round, grab takeout, or use the restroom facilities. You are welcome to use our putting green on the south side of our clubhouse if you are here earlier than 60 minutes. Our putting green outside of the pro shop & warm up nets are only open to the next foursome on deck prior to teeing off hole #1.
–We are CASHLESS in the pro shop. Debit/VISA/MC/Amex is accepted to pay for power carts, shop merchandise or member guest green fees. All Public Golfers tee times will be prepaid at the time of booking, whether you book online or by phone. A credit card must be given to prepay in advance for any tee times made.
-Power carts are not booked online or prepaid, only your green fees. If you wish to rent a power cart or pull cart, please see the pro shop on arrival and you can pay for your rental with credit card/debit and will be given a key. -Powercart rentals are strictly rented to only those that are at least 18 yrs. old with a FULL G licence. Proof of age will be required if renting a powercart. Anyone under the age of 18 yrs. found driving a power cart will forfeit the entire group to continue playing golf, and the group will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. Parents are not allowed to give permission to their children to drive our power carts at anytime.
Dress Code – Please wear proper and appropriate golf attire. Jeans (pants or shorts), large transfer/logo tshirts, halter tops, tube tops, crop tops, sweat pants are not permitted. No metal spikes permitted on shoes. Attire should be clean and tidy and respectful. Our staff have the right to let customers know if their attire is not appropriate and have the right to restrict a golfer from playing due to inappropriate attire.
-Children are permitted to ride as a passenger in power carts provided they can sit in the seat with their back fully against the back seat and both feet can rest flat on the floorboard. This seated position is for the safety of the child, especially between multiple road crossings. If the child cannot sit with their back against the seat and feet fully flat on the floorboard, then they cannot ride in the power cart. The adult in charge of the child assumes all liability of said child riding in the cart with them. Children are not allowed to be walking the course, or riding in power carts as “non golfers” and spectators only. Only golfers who have paid a green fee will be allowed on the course.
–The putting green outside of the pro shop is open for practice for the next group due on the 1st tee. We have a 2nd putting green on the south side of our clubhouse that other golfers who are playing that day up to 60 minutes before their tee time can use. Maximum of 4 players at a time on each putting green. No outside practice players on our putting greens for golfers that do not have a tee time on the “day of”.
-All powercarts are washed after each use, please leave them in the designated “drop off” area outside the pro shop (in roundabout). Please remove all garbage & recycling and place in designated bins to eliminate the need for our staff to touch your items. Remove all personal belongings.
–Be respectful of homeowners and the close proximity to the golf course and yell “FORE” for all errant shots.
-There is to be no loitering in our parking lot, drinking, playing music or rowdiness. Please respect that our parking lot is surrounded by homeowners. If you wish to relax after your round, please use our dining room patio. There is no open alcohol allowed in our parking lot in power carts or drinking of alcohol in our parking lot. The parking lot is “alcohol free” per our Liquor Licence.
Cannabis Policy – Smoking or consuming marijuana in any form is prohibited on the golf course property, clubhouse area, or parking lot. Exceptions may be made to this policy where an individual has a medical certificate indicating that the use of marijuana has been approved by a healthcare professional. In such cases, Club Management must be notified in advance and individual accommodations will be discussed to such use on property. At no time will anyone with a medical certificate be allowed to drive a power cart.
Smoking – The smoking of cigarettes is only permitted in our parking lot area or out on the golf course with discreation of the players you are playing with. When smoking on the golf course, you must ensure that cigarettes buts are not tossed into the grass while still lit, this can lead to fires. Where possible, please ensure you have a cup or otherwise to dispose of your cigarette and do not litter on the course. No one is permitted to be smoking on any of our exterior patios, near our clubhouse or putting greens due to the close proximity of our customers and staff.
-There is zero tolerance and not permitted for anyone to bring “outside alcohol” onto our property. Anyone caught with their own alcohol will forfeit their groups golf privileges and golf fees and will be asked to leave immediately. We reserve the right to check all coolers and bags on Millcroft Golf Club property.
TEE TIMES & CANCELLATION POLICY
Tee time bookings can be made through our home page, Book A Tee Time/Tee Times. All tee times (with the exception of members) will be 100% prepaid in full at the time of booking. Please ensure you are booking for the correct number of players as your credit card will be charged in full based on the number of players you are booking for. Our tee time intervals are 10 minutes apart and each tee time is for 4 players. Any group booking for less than 4 players, please know that the club will sell any open tee times and you will be paired up with others. Any groups booking for 4 or 3 players, and showing up with less than what they booked for, “short show or no show” will not be refunded for any players not in attendence. Our tee times are prepaid and refunds will only be made up to 24 hours in advance. If your original players you book a tee time for changes, then it is someone’s responsibility in the group to call and cancel the booking if you cannot play, or edit the booking if you know you will have less players that day. Should you need to cancel or reduce the number of players in your booking on the “day of”, partial refunds will only be considered if you notify us within 2 hours of your tee time by emailing us at: proshop@millcroftgolfclub.ca and provide us with the name the booking is under, the tee time, and the reason why you need to cancel or edit your time. The Management of Millcroft will review your email and if a refund or partial refund will be granted, it will be processed back onto the same credit card that initially booked and prepaid for the green fees within 3 business days and an email will be sent to you.
RAINCHEQUE POLICY
Raincheques are issued when the course staff have to call golfers off the course due to lightening. In heavier rain, golfers who wish to have a raincheque issued can speak with our pro shop. Raincheques for both golf & power carts are pro-rated based on the # of holes unplayed. A raincheque will be pro-rated over 18 holes from Open up to 2nd Twilight. Raincheques will be pro-rated over 9 holes from 2nd Twilight until our last tee time due to the reduced rate. The amount printed on your raincheque will be a pre-tax value and once used, you will receive the pre-tax value PLUS the HST when you redeem it on your next visit. The raincheque value is a discount off your next green fee rate when visiting us again in the future.
